New Phones, New Phones and Gmail!
6.21.2004
Jay's new blog is now up and running, and though new with it's posts, he started it with a blast of new mobile phone models that will make you drool! Unfortunately, not any of them would be available in Manila just yet, but it sure remains something to look forward to.
Just last night, while everyone is fast asleep or net chatting their way to sleep, I got my gmail started, and Jay was just drooling. Of course he needed to make me drool an extra step and exact revenge :-) so he posted these bad ass power phones and my, he did hit me twice with this set! Check for instance this one witwhich links to a bigger picture:
Samsung SCH-V500
This powerhouse is literally jam-packed with features for the ultimate multimedia kick. A clamshell with a twist, it can rotate to switch to a landscape display so games and video clips appear awesome on its QVGA (320 x 240) 262K-color screen.
Awesome huh? Well, will Samsung, LG, or Panasonic take over Ericsson and Nokia's dominance? That remains to be seen, but on the email side I'm sure gmail will. Take this link from Rick Klau where he explains why gmail will win. Sassy also has got something to say on email competition.
Now, If only phones lines will be free like email...
