Old blog, since 2002. Haven't updated in more than decade. Keeping it online for nostalgia feels.

Gershwin, Washington, Lucas, Orwell...

Digg!

People named George. There's something about them that fascinates me. George Bush of course included. Now here's another one ---

George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway, George Galloway,

Looks like the US Senate had quite a lot of him, huh? Hehehe take the good seat and watch the show. Expect a parry from the Neo-con side.

Interstingly, whatever happens, whichever side validates its claims... Media wins ... The way it is going though, you got to love this guy named George ... gives the name George yet another good ring after someone quite recent just destroyed it's good name...

Behindthename.com explains where it comes from:

The Greek name Georgios which was derived from the Greek word georgos meaning "farmer, earthworker", itself derived from the elements ge "earth" and ergon "work". Saint George was a legendary dragon slayer who was supposedly martyred in Palestine. He is the patron saint of England, Portugal and Catalonia. This name has been borne by six kings of England, two kings of Greece, and the first president of the United States, George Washington.

Which George do I like best? His last name is Harrison.
