Vermont lawmakers to call for Bush impeachment
4.28.2006
News of the day: Bush impeachement! No this is not John Stuart:
BURLINGTON — A Progressive lawmaker today will introduce a formal resolution in the state Legislature calling on Congress to draft articles of impeachment against Pres. George W. Bush. Rep. Dave Zuckerman, P-Burlington, claims support from at least a dozen lawmakers, including Democrats, Progressives and one independent, and expects to have more co-signers before handing the resolution into the House clerk later today.
Will the republican-controlled congress vote republican or if this prospers, would they vote away from party lines to preserve their grip on their constituents? Big question: how many people want another war, re: Iran, started by the same president?
